It has A D 80. According to the date codes Ive found, the D would indicate 1957, or 1983.

It kind of looks to be on the newer end of that spectrum, unless its in really good cond for a 57, but wouldnt an 83 have the S.N.

I thought I interpreted that guns newer than 67 would have a 5 or 6 digit number along with the date code.

Also, what would the sign indicate Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed it does have a smaller front sight than pics Ive seen of newer ones.
